Beverly Hills will hold their 21st Annual Earth Day festivities on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

The Earth Day celebration offers opportunities to learn more about protecting the environment. This year's theme is "Planet vs. Plastics."

Westside Repair Café AT CULVER CITY
The next WRC is on May 4 at Culver City's 2nd annual Enviro-fest. Last year Enviro-fest included an e-waste collection, give- away of recycling and organic waste pails, an instructional booth about how to throw a party without single-use plastic, and a fruit tree and compost giveaway. Westside Repair Café will be a fantastic addition to this event.

Hours for Public: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.
For Volunteers Only - Set up: 8:30 am - 9:30 am. Clean-up: 2:45 pm - 3:15 pm.

Monthly Azure Grocery Order Cutoff in May is still TBD
It's time for our next Azure grocery order. April 18th at 4:00PM is the cutoff time for placing our orders. The tentative delivery day is as above plan to pick up your items at Christy's as soon as an hour after the scheduled delivery time. Please look for Azure's emails confirming your order and delivery schedule, Azure may change the expected day/time of delivery. David is coordinating our order, call or email him with any questions or how-to details you may need addressed. If you'd like to participate or to help us contact David.

Please take a home Covid Test before attending and do not come if you have any symptoms. Gotta keep everyone safe!
Potluck: Please bring a dish to share that feeds 8 people. You'll earn a Time Bank hour if you do. You'll earn 2 Time Credits if you bring a main dish! Please BRING your own plates, cups and utensils (and serving utensils). Bring a friend, orientation will be scheduled for a later time. If you don't feel comfortable sharing food, feel free to bring a sack lunch for yourself.
Special Offer: to give you even more motivation to help us make this potluck a big welcome back, we're offering 2 extra hours to attendees.
You'll always get hours for bringing a dish and for helping with setup and clean up.
New Member Orientation: Want to join Our Time Bank? If you plan to attend an orientation (1 of the steps to join) you must attend the potluck first. One of our leadership team members will schedule an orientation with you after the potluck.
We are looking for new locations to host upcoming potlucks. Do you have an outdoor or indoor space that accommodates more than 20 people? Please contact Nicky Bregman to learn more.
