Westside Repair Café

Saturday, April 30, 2016 - 2:00pm

Once again the Westside Repair Café team (Our Time Bank Transition Culver City) have joined forces with the City of Culver City and The City of Santa Monica to help run the next "Regional" Repair Café!

Guests, please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 30th, start time 2PM, end time 5PM.  Volunteers and fixers, please plan to arrive at 1PM for setup and orientation, then stay to help cleanup so we can vacate the facility by 6PM.

Park in the lot off Marine, behind the auditorium. Additional free parking may be found nearby on the streets.  Bicycle racks are located adjacent to the patio entrance to the auditorium, or you can temporarily park them in our patio area (as long as they do not block us or pose a risk to guests or children playing in the playground). The entrance to the auditorium is on the South side of the building.  More information about the location and the facility can be found HERE

If you would like to volunteer to help at this event you do not need to be an expert fixer! Apprentices and those with an apptitude to learn are welcome to volunteer. If you can help with repairs, demonstrations, general staff support, etc. please consider signing up HERE (volunteers only please)

To help us do the repairs as fast as possible, we ask that you send us an EMAIL a week or two in advance describing the items you need repaired and their condition.  Please include brand and model numbers where appropriate.  Our fixers will research your items ahead of time to help ensure we are able to make proper repairs quickly.

We will update this event page 1-2 weeks before the event date with the list of Repair Stations that will be operational.  For a complete description of what we expect to be able to repair at each Repair Station click HERE.
